We have had a busy two weeks since returning from spring break.

Reading: We are continuing to learn about the characters we read about. We have been working on changing our voices to match how our character feels.

Writing: We are continuing working on our realistic fiction books. We have started to add table of contents to our books.

Math: We are just wrapping up our math unit this week. We have been working on adding and subtracting numbers. We will be starting our geometry unit soon.

Science: We started our organism unit when we returned from break. We have been busy planting seeds and making observations of the aquariums and terrariums. Ask your child what organisms are in the aquariums and terrariums 🙂

The PTSA’s walk-a-thon is Friday, May 13th. Our class will be walking from 10:00-10:45 and our lunch will be 11:00-11:25. The PTSA is still looking for volunteers. If you can volunteer please contact the PTSA or there is a signup sheet in the office.
