It was so great to see so many of you at the open house on Thursday. The students were so excited to show you their classroom.

Reading: We continue to work on building our read to self stamina. We also continue to focus on identifying characters and the beginning, middle and end of a story.

Writing: We continue to work on writing our small moments. We are working on writing across three pages.

Math: We are busy working on tallies, number lines and understanding place value.

SeeSaw: During open house you were given a bright green piece of paper with information about Seesaw or it went home with your child on Friday. This is a program that we will be using on our iPads to share our work with you. Students will be learning this week how to share their work with you. I have also posted pictures from the week on it. Please join so you can see what your child is up to.

You are able to save the work that is shared with you on Seesaw. This being said sometimes a photo that is posted has more than just your child in it. While I don’t mind if you post a picture that only has your child in it on social media please be mindful that if other children are in it that other parents may not want that picture to be posted on social media. Thank you.
